Principal's Message

Dear Families,

As we head into these beautiful spring months, our students are entering an exciting season of growth and reflection. We are also preparing to begin our Spring Assessments, which provide an opportunity for our students to showcase all the hard work and learning they’ve accomplished this year.

To help your child(ren) feel confident and perform their best, we ask for your support in focusing on a few healthy habits at home:

  • Restful Sleep: Ensure your child gets plenty of sleep each night to help them stay focused and energized.
  • Nutritious Breakfast: Starting the day with a good breakfast provides the fuel needed for a morning of deep thinking.
  • Hydration: Please encourage your child to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

We are so incredibly excited to see what our students have learned and to celebrate their progress with you.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education!

Mrs. Moore

AVID: Preparing for Spring Assessments

As we approach spring assessment season, our students are using their AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) strategies to stay focused and prepared. AVID isn't just about college readiness; it’s about having the right "toolbox" for any challenge!

Tip for Families: Help your student prepare by ensuring they get a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast. You can also ask them to "teach" you one concept they reviewed in class today—teaching others is one of the best ways to master a topic!

Picking Up Students Early

Just a friendly reminder....

If you need to pick up your child early, please call the office by 2:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and by 12:30 PM on Wednesdays.

This allows us enough time to locate your child, as schedules often change throughout the day and students may be in specials, recess, or other activities. Calling ahead ensures your child is ready and waiting when you arrive.

Thank you for your cooperation and helping us keep dismissal smooth and safe for all students!
